Black Clay Lamps with Mica Shades

Featuring the pottery of Jeannine Calcagno. The vases are hand thrown using a black stoneware and decorated with colored porcelain slip. Original designs are placed to look pleasing from all sides. Only the artists hands have formed these beautiful pieces of art. When you acquire one of these designs for your home, you add a focal piece that brightens the room both literally and figuratively. This line of artisanal lighting is designed using themes from nature that complement the raw products used to create the lamp. Our artisan lamp shades feature leaves that are hand-placed on the custom made mica lamp shades. This leaf motif was commonly used on arts and crafts style furnishings and used extensively with Stickley furniture and in American Bungalow homes. Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of our lamps, when matching table lamps are requisitioned, the handmade pottery is ordered to ensure the pair of vases match as closely as possible.
